Already from the beginning of March and onwards throughout the spring, Sardinia offers the opportunity to discover spectacular landscapes and enchanting places.

The flat configuration of the territory around Oristano also allows you to explore its landscapes with long and relaxing walks.

If you want to stay in the environs, you can explore the Sinis Peninsula far and wide, from the archaeological area of Tharros and the pagan church at the gate of San Giovanni, up to the famous uninhabited village of San Salvatore, which has been used as a set for several western films in the 60s.

From San Giovanni, heading for Is Aruttas, Putzu Idu and Santa Caterina di Pittinuri, you can reach the beach of S'Archittu, characterized by white rocks of limestone origin, that the sea has shaped in the form of a bow, from which the local boys usually test their ability with spectacular dives.

A few kilometres from our facility, you can rediscover the history of Sardinia by visiting the Nuragic complex of Santa Cristina, one of the most important sacred areas of the Nuragic Age.

You can also visit the famous Domus de Janas, (in English "houses of fairies"), small shelters excavated in the rock dating from the Neolithic Age and scattered throughout Sardinia.

Sport

Spring is the ideal time for lovers of hiking and more adventurous walking tours that will take you to admire the mountains of Sardinia, rich in watercourses, streams and waterfalls, which at this time are lusher than ever.

There is also a lot to explore for those who like practicing bird-watching and snorkelling. In the spring, in fact, the area of Oristano is the favourite destination for many species of birds, which you can admire even just walking along the roads towards the sea, running along salt works, and near the ponds of Cabras and Santa Giusta.

So, taking advantage of the beautiful season and of the tranquility of so little crowded beaches as ours, diving and snorkeling trips will not disappoint you.
