AUTUMN AND WINTER

Sardinia is an island that offers surprises and opportunities throughout the seasons of the year. Not only sea and beaches, but also excursions, trips, tastings and festivals can be the protagonists of your holidays.

In the autumn, as the landscape changes its colours, sea lovers will still have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful days and prolong the summer season until the end of October. Alternatively, they can opt to move from the coast to the most inland areas of Sardinia, where from September to December - following the dates of the "Autumn in Barbagia" calendar – it is possible to discover the picturesque villages of the hinterland that join the initiative "Cortes Apertas" and taste the traditional local dishes and wines of the area.

Sports

Autumn and Winter are the ideal periods for surfing, wind-surfing and kite-surfing.

The western slope of Sardinia offers waves up to 4 metres high, the most advisable area being definitely Capo Mannu, one of the most popular surfing destinations around the Mediterranean, which is only 20 km from our estate.

The Sartiglia

The Sartiglia is one of the most spectacular and choreographic carnival events. It is a jousting tournament, whose first documentation dates back to 1547, which takes place in the heart of Oristano, involving the whole city for the three days of carnival, from Sunday to Shrove Tuesday.
